I see Epstein as ultra-critical to the dick-tater now, and am a bit on the fence regarding Putin.

I can see Putin demanding a stand-down of US efforts to counter Russia and that has mostly held, with some plus and minus.

Trump and Putin seem to be in sparring mode right now, I suspect because of the blackmail that Putin has on Trump (illicit poontang, beauty contests and so on, some money laundering, and whatever those two are/were up to) arguing over the price at the previous and now-cancelled second "summit" a.k.a. auction.

All that said, zero of Trump's actions benefit Americans, and 100% seem to benefit Putin, give or take the little bargaining for videos that Putin has.

Of course, a fifth column, "Agent Orange" can do way more for Putin than his crumbling army and power base can, by EO or whatever. ... Crippling the armed forces and cyber defense has a LOT to do with that..
Ethnic purity has nothing to do with defense, It cripples defense. And who benefits?
