Showing Original Post only (View all)Two people in little Cape Coral Florida hauled away by ICE for making threats. [View all]
This is apparently just the beginning in this Republican area near Naples. For one family they drove up in a tank at 6am and broke down the door of some family with guns drawn whose 74 year old grandfather had supposedly posted threats to ICE. In a separate incident, another person posted something on bluesky. They put both of them in detention centers. They just let the 74 year old man go back home after a few days but he will have a court case coming up. They pointed a green laser at the daughter and questioned her in a car and made everyone plus the children leave the house while they ripped it apart. If they start driving tanks in exclusive areas in Naples, we will see a bunch of rich Republicans raising hell.

OP
They tore out the families cameras, taped over them, and turned them around.

The expected reaction should be a couple of cops or FBI agents knocking on the door and questioning the grandpa.

It's not smart to be making threats but if they haul away every grouchy old man in Florida.

Defending a tank destroying a home on suspicious postings online is not defensible.

Funny how only threats against the regime are investigated and charged these days. . . . nt

There is no picture or video of any TANK. "Anna" said "tank" and you swallowed it. Your 2 minute video has nothing. . nt

You're fine. You were right to point it out. Your post might be a bit harsh, but it is within bounds :) . . . . nt

Tank? Link? I suspect you are exaggerating unnecessarily for no good reason. Tank? . . . . nt

No you can't. There is a ram, but NO TANK in your video or the other one. . . . nt

Thanks for posting it, but you can't see the vehicle and it does not support OP's sensational claim of "tank"

I see a vehicle, which looks like some armored thing, at 2:22 into the video.

Thanks. There is some kind of vehicle at 2:22, but it is definitely not a tank. . . . nt

I've seen photos of armored trucks/cars with tops that flip open used by ICE in Chicago.

People often use "tank" as a generic term for any similarly shaped armored vehicle.

Yes they do and it is a mistake. Thx for anecdote. Winston Churchill promoted their construction in WW1. . . nt

We do know it was not a tank. A poster proved it. Police riot vehicle is radically different from a tank
