the same "reality based community" was saying trump would be prosecuted for January 6 and the stolen documents.

And those of us who expressed doubt that he would be prosecuted were the ones who were called "defeatist."

I don't think the "reality based community" you refer to is all that reality based.

Also, acknowledging there might be serious issues with the election is the opposite of "surrendering in advance." Ignoring the possibility comes a lot closer to "surrendering in advance."
