This was my wife question. She has heard people complain and argue about why IT ISN"T FAIR for gun owners to be placed on a database BUT having a mental illness database gets a shrug of the shoulders by certain people.
Don't they realize the idea of mental illness can range to your "standard definition" of general publics belief mental illness is BUT it can also extend to someone have a terrible time getting over perhaps grief after a love one passes on. In some areas that is now classified as mental illness.
