Is there a way Presidential polls are manipulated to such a degree that it appears that 35 percent of American citizens are utterly brain-dead? I'm not being facetious or trying to make a point, I really am curious (and concerned). Thoughts?

Yes, I know there are always the "true believers" out there but this is too many, imho, to account for this.
