Under normal circumstances, JD Vance or his controllers would choose someone who can broaden his appeal in hopes of winning the 2028 and 2032 presidential election.

Since JD Vance is a creepy fuck who has absolutely no hope of winning even a corrupted election, they'll pair him up with someone who can help him cause as much damage as possible before he has to leave office in 2029. Since the GOP seems to want to turn the US into a theocracy, his new vice president will be the most extreme minister they can find. I'm predicting there'll be aquariums full of rattlesnakes in his office before his term ends.
