...John Roberts, if he cares about his legacy, and I believe The Federalist Society impresses on these people not to, since they'll be dead, is going to go down in infamy probably second to Roger Taney as the worst Chief Justice of the United States. Roberts has shown himself to be a true believer in the Unity Executive Theory, something antithetical to our historical understanding of the separation of powers.

What's so galling about this Court is they routinely throw out well considered, well researched, and well written decisions in favor of their strained, close to crackpot, conclusions. From the time you had your first American Studies class in school you were told "No person is above the law". John Roberts is the person who trashed that ideal, and that alone is unforgivable. Once this Court strikes down Humphey's Executor, we might as well have a king because there will never be another independent agency in this country. You might as well not have independent courts -- and it looks like the Roberts Court is fine with that as well.
