Belief that politicians (both sides) are corrupt (except one's favs who somehow aren't really politicians or part of the establishment or elites even though they may have been in politics for decades and depend on fundraising just like other politicians) -- only the incorruptible outsider is pure of heart and brave enough to conquer the evil establishment status quo and pull swords out of rocks.
