In reply to the discussion: Trump says he takes more aspirin than recommended by his doctors [View all]Ol Janx Spirit
(650 posts)47. The first law of Turnip-depravity: if he said it then it was a lie.
We have zero basis to believe any of what he said. In fact, we are far better off assuming it is a lie.
For one thing: he says he's been taking this dose of aspirin for years, but the bruising was really only first noticed in the spring of 2024. Something changed, but they will not tell us what--which is pretty telling in and of itself.
For another: he's used bandages on his right hand lately. You don't need bandages to cover a bruise that you claim can be covered with makeup in literally 10 seconds. Oh yeah, that was a high-five with Bondi...right? Sure.
The safe bet is that it is a lie. What is the truth? We may never know.
But come on black spot. You can do this!

He lies when he says he knows more than anybody about a given subject and also when he says he knows nothing about it.

Extra aspirin and a daily flume of Diet Coke sure sounds like a recipe for a happy tummy.

Agree. I'm on Brilinta and a baby aspirin after a piece of plaque lodged in my eye.
