5. Regulations have recently been changed/loosened for PA's, at least in BC

Not sure of the specifics, but there has been a lot of hoopla lately around local clinics bringing on PA’s.

Have your friend check out healthcareinfusion.org for links to local chapters that can help them navigate the process.

My wife and I are both retired healthcare professionals and although we both took mathematical pay cuts in our Canadian jobs compared to our California jobs, we maintained the same standard of living as before, perhaps even better once we moved to Vancouver island, where, except for the Victoria area, housing is much, much cheaper than on the Lower Mainland.

Remember- no healthcare premiums, deductibles or copays in BC (except for dental, vision and prescriptions), and the peace of mind from living here is priceless.
