(42,973 posts)Here's the thing about "noncommittal." Probably AI can't post any of that online because the local accounts and shared live-streamed footage are in local police hands, and so those might be evidence, and so they can't be posted online when a DA might be in possession of sworn statements by locals and the footage itself. AI doesn't scrape from phones, as far as I can tell after reading around eleven books on AI, and one particularly about DeepMind AI. I'm pretty sure that footage has to be posted online by the owner first, then AI can find it.
It can also explain why local and national news media might not have access to what the DA has, either. Why? Because the DA's aware that there's a major state and cities lawsuit in progress in the district court.
