9. Schools already cancelled for tomorrow. -35 to -40 windchills forecast here in Appleton, WI (just South of Green Bay).

The grandkids are happy about no school tomorrow.

Our weatherman just said we have 60 hours below zero. That's brutal. I'm always a bit scared that the furnace will go out (it's happened before) or we lose power. But even if we do, the power company and the heating companies here are amazingly competent.

We're putting out a ton of bird seed and peanuts for the birds, apples and carrots for the bunnies too.
