33. Not too bad in Wilmington, DE right now: 43 degrees. But . . .

Over the weekend we're suppose to slip into the teens and single digits with snow forecasts all over the place. I've managed to handle the past snow this season, anywhere from an inch to maybe 4 inches. But I can't shovel a foot+ of snow without crippling myself. My husband is very unbalanced with weak knees and ankles, so I signed on with a local guy willing to come with his snowblower and plow to clear the front of the house. I managed to get the last bit of salt available for my back steps so I can get the dogs out. My little guy, Benny, no longer does steps on his own, so I need to carry him up and down. Salt is essential to both our lives!!

Maybe it won't be as bad as they're predicting. These dire Snow-apocalypse warnings often turn into duds. But just in case, we're good on food and basic staples.
