Surely this is a horrible time for us.

I've been trying to find the one issue that can explain to America what we protest about. I believe that it's "due process."

Minnesotan's are not law breakers. We are defending "due process." The ICE/Border Patrol actions have completely shredded the norms that we have come to expect from law enforcement. We are asking that people be arrested with warrants, that those arrested get access to legal counsel before appearing in court.

To those who say just let them do their jobs, I have to say, ICE/Border Patrol are not doing their jobs. They are taking short cuts that will become the norm if not challenged. That is why we are on the streets.
