2. I get my brand name epilepsy medication from Canada

My insurance doesn't cover brand-name medications if there is a generic available. Unfortunately, generics are NOT equivalent, and certain conditions, like epilepsy, require the active ingredient be spot on. I can get 90 pills of brand-name from an online Canadian pharmacy for under $200, whereas 30 pills of brand-name would cost me over $500 in the US.

I looked up Jardiance at the pharmacy I use in Canada, and here are the costs. I mention this not to disagree with your post that Trump might have actually done something good (broken clock and all), more to let people who don't have insurance, or their insurance won't cover brand-name, know that there are cheaper options.
