23. I attended the music camp in 1964.

I played first violin in the orchestra. Van Cliburn was a guest pianist and Lucy Baines Johnson did a reading of Peter and the Wolf another time. I don’t remember anything weird going on other than the usual music nerd stuff. There was a group of us “hot chicks” in the dorm, and had there been any thing like that going on, we would have known. Also the rules were pretty strict. But I spent most of my free time across the street at the beach doing normal teenager stuff, or as my dad referred to it, a waste of talent and money. I guess rock and roll ruined me at an early age and I’m so glad it did.
