Why would he be the serial obedient servant of Putin, Musk, Netanyahu, Prince Bonesaw ...

What if they were buying and selling said video or videos with completely damning evidence?

I imagine he has been robbing the treasury to steal enough money to buy the video(s) and destroy them, but the price keeps going up.
