Maybe he intentionally and with malice aforethought scheduled his speech to coincide with the beginning of Passover - or at least he could and should have picked another time out of respect. Maybe someone told him about Passover and he just didn't care. He certainly wouldn't have scheduled a speech on Christmas Eve. But enjoy your Seder and don't think about Agent Orange.
