The example that I gave was only an illustration of the different ways that a college can act with students who have mental health problems. AFAIK, the student in my post had not threatened or expressed fantasies of killing people. But the college dealt with him far more ethically than Harvard did with the unibomber.

LSD, especially over long periods of time, can precipitate psychosis in persons with a genetic predisposition. Giving it to a young person who already has mental health problems is unethical and dangerous if not followed up by therapy.
