(5,020 posts)That motion is simultaneous with the first shot. A photograph shows what could be a projectile moving south, away from T, after passing by the right side of his head. When T's right palm comes down from his right ear an instant later, it has blood on it. A second or two later, hydraulic fluid sprays from equipment at the south end of the deck.
Two or three more shots ensue in that first volley. The firefighter, seated to the north from where T was standing, is struck in the head by one of those rounds.
After a few seconds elapse, another volley commences. Video shows a male, south of where T was standing, sustaining the impact of a round to his abdomen. Another male is shot at this point. The injury is to his arm.
The sniper's volley concludes because of shots fired by one or more counter snipers. As I understand it, the first counter sniper round struck the sniper's rifle, rendering it inoperable. The second counter sniper round struck the sniper's head.
