Trump wasn't close to death. He had a small nick, near his ear. Your scalp is full of superificial veins which bleed profusely when nicked. He had a minor injury. He wasn't close to death at all. It's no worse than when I was pushed into a locker and my eyebrow lacerated.

They blamed Biden for this...

We look really stupid if we blame Trump, when the SS was under Biden's watch. Biden was blamed for this by the GOP believe or not. He was accused of purposely not providing enough agents for the event. And rumors were going around the Biden wanted Trump dead.

I'm only posting what I read. I'm not endorsing GOP talking points. It's just that Trump was not the president and was not in charge of Secret Service.

Secret Service director resigns in wake of Trump assassination attempt

U.S. Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle resigned from her job, according to a statement released by the White House.

President Biden thanked Cheatle for her service, saying "she has selflessly dedicated and risked her life to protect our nation throughout her career in the United States Secret Service."

Biden cited the work of an independent review commission that was launched this weekend to investigate the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pa., on July 13.
