There's actually a name for that particular viewpoint. It's called "Postmillenialism." It's a mishmash of selective cherry picking of bits and pieces of blblical text, all taken out of context. It claims that Christian history is divided into dispensations, and that allows the core principles of the gospel, which support absolutely none of this mess, to be bypassed and ignored. "thou shalt not murder," and "love thy neighbor" are last dispensation principles. In the new dispensation, God brings back slaugher of enemies.
