That’s a myth.
Let’s say we have some nice views but island life is no bed of roses and trickle down economics means we’re all on the road to deterioration in all spheres while the global and local thieves rob us all blind.
Hurricane Melissa last year destroyed vast sections of this island. It’s hell for many folks in those parishes. Our roads are a mess.
Meanwhile, bananas are finally returning less than a month from the start of this year’s hurricane season.
