Of course, he lies constantly, but to make up such a silly story based on nothing was bizarre...BUT, as the disaster of the Iran War, his idiotic birthday bash and the green slime pool were unfolding, the media and the American people were captivated by the blatant bullshit about Meloni.

So, it became the distraction du jour, just as it was intended.
