105. Sorry that won't wash either.......

I was aware that the tax HOLIDAY was coming to an end and I'm 61 and make about 15k per year. I've also not only seen it discussed on DU, but I also heard it discussed SEVERAL times on the year end shows on MSNBC. There's no way any politically aware person could have missed it. IT WAS NOT A SECRET!

My check today had the SS hike in it too and I didn't piss and moan about it. I've paid into SS for decades now and paid EXTRA into SS since Reagan's SS tax hike to pay for myself and my generation only to see that money wasted on rich capitalists and unnecessary wars. If anything, the "older demographic" like myself and other boomers should be even more pissed off about the attempt by the RW (and I include fellow traveler Dems in that group) to keep their tax cuts and wars by attempting to renege on what my generation was promised and paid for.
