teens, wayyyyyyy back in the last millenium, after an ex tried to kill me, I have advocated for all women and girls to take martial arts training, or, at the very least, basic self defense classes.

I do not open my door to anyone unless I am expecting them. I do not leave my dooor open if it will be out of my sight. Heck, I do not even answer my phone unless the number is in my contact list. My insurance company has a visiting nurse wellness check thing, which I refuse. They finally stopped calling and annoying me about them.
