Bad rap with younger women because it is perceived (wrongly, we have been told) to mean something intolerant and non-inclusive, and something other than what I've always thought is the actual meaning, i,e. "supports equality for women".

If "Feminism" really is this inclusive term defined by the umbrella of "Supports equality for Women", then one would think that not only CAN Men be Feminist, but they should be, if they are decent human beings and not a-holes.

It's only in the last week or so that I've heard these sorts of proclamations about "Men, stay out of Feminism!"

Until recently, I was under the impression that it was a term we all should embrace, particularly to clear away the misconceptions that are causing young women, in large numbers, to reject the name.

Odd, to say the least.
