9. There are three main sources of our debt

Source 1: holding wars without raising taxes to pay for them.

Source 2: developing weapons we don't need, that don't work, and will be outdated if they're ever fielded.

Source 3: a tax code that cuts taxes on business so they'll be inspired to take some socially beneficial action, rather than cutting their taxes if they perform that action.

Since RWNJs always confuse micro- and macroeconomics, let's do that too: if you want to use $5 bills to motivate your second grader to get As on his report card, would you get more As if you told Johnny, "I will give you $5 for each A on your report card" or "here's $30, I want you to get straight As this quarter"? The latter is our current tax code - we cut taxes so businesses will create jobs, not if they create them. Since they're getting the tax cut whether they create jobs or not, why should they bother with creating any?
