Historically "colloidal silver", a liquid suspension of microscopic silver particles, was ingested to treat a variety of diseases. Its use was largely discontinued in the 1940s, following the development of safer and more effective modern antibiotics
They still use it on burns in the hospital to prevent infection. It is used as a water preservative. It is used on medical equipment.
As more and more illnesses become resistant to antibiotics, more people are turning to this natural antibiotic.
A spray can be used on skin issues. Many people are getting MSRA which is resistant to regular antibiotics.
It is good as a mouthwash.
Just yesterday I found out it was a pain killer as well. I burned my arm, sprayed silver on it to prevent infection, and the pain went away for 20 minutes or so. I really couldn't believe it. I still don't understand how it managed to kill the pain.
And if you all really want to believe that US medicine is the best, that we are getting the best possible medical treatment know to mankind, that we are being told the truth about how to protect our health...well I will refer you to this popular thread...
