195. You are one of the few gun people I have

not ignored. You are correct in your thoughts about the arguments. We have to move more to the middle on this issue and others. We have the far right, who are not seeing things clearly and being egged on by their media choice and the far left who are in many ways unreasonable in what they think the country will tolerate or should. I live somewhere in the middle.

It bothers me when people make jokes here about rural people like my extended family, many own rifles to protect their property and livestock. We have to have a sane discussion without shouting about automatic weapons and large mags. i do not agree we need them but I want to listen to reasonable ideas.

I do not see you as the kind of gun owner who would have yelled at that poor father, those types of people do not help your cause in the least and I think most gun owners understand that.

You are right, not all gun folks are psychos, but you do have a few. I have seen them here and they scare me.

People here tell me I need a thicker skin, we will see what kind of response this brings
