I agree. The LAPD probably doesn't want him to say any more than he has already. With him on the run and armed and dangerous it's an excuse to take him down.

I imagine with his training he can survive out in the wilderness at night but it does get cold.

He's pretty much a marked dead man though. He killed a cop in addition to two others. And seeing that the LAPD is trigger happy already by shooting newspaper delivery people the odds are against him he'll get out alive.

One thing I haven't heard much on this is the gun debate. There's alot of focus on him being in the Navy and the LAPD and how they screwed him over but he still acquired a large amount of weapons like any other guy that's come unhinged or planned an attack. It's part of the continuing problem this country faces with maniacs acquiring weapons and adding to the 1,340,000 killed since 1968 and adding to the 1550 killed since Newton. People that shouldn't have guns are able to get them an kill people.

That issue can't be overlooked even though this guy seems to be acquiring a folk hero status.
