(12,530 posts)He addresses your question about his state of mind and what he describes as his happy-go-lucky nature. It makes for fascinating reading. Whatever else this guy is, he's very intelligent, and he's a pretty decent writer (he could use an editor). He goes into great detail with his accusations of police corruption. He doesn't have bombshell information about the force as a whole, as some in this thread have said. His intent appears to be clearing his own name in the incident for which he was fired. And he addresses reporters--any who would care to investigate his claims. He tells them what timeframe they should look for in internal affairs reports, gives names of people they should speak to, and so on. Then he goes into his target selection methodology and rationale. It's bizarre and fascinating. Nothing trumps the slaughter of innocents, and he will die for that, but he makes me think someone should take a close look at the LAPD.
