I agree with much of what you said, but NOT hat every parissioner is a criminal and that we should be burning the churches down. I'm old now, but I can honestly tell you, after attending 12 years of the same Catholic School, I NEVER heard of any of this molestation, and I remember our religion class was taught by the priest. You'd have to have met him to understand what I mean when I say there's NO WAY Fr. Becker was guilty of anything like this abuse!

I still consider myself a Catholic, although I no longer attend Church every Sunday. I'm very disgusted with the actions many of the priests have been involved in, and very disappointed in the POPE for not punishing them and turning them over to the courts for proper punishment. It's a sad day for the Church that it''s representatives have caused such distruction that Ithinkit's possible it may not survive.
