once you build an aircraft carrier it keeps costing you money, it does not generate income

Not for you or I, per say, but the Bush's did quite well with "their" aircraft carriers. They made a lot of 1%'er richer than they have ever been, by using "their" military to support corporate interests overseas. Peace.
