This is the party. The fact people are going out and voting for these people tells you all you need to about the Republican party. How damaged is it? Hard to say since they took back the house in 2010. For some reason Americans are ever slow to realize the Republican party is hopelessly not representing actual Americans, unless corporation ARE people and international corporation ARE Americans. If the last 30 years haven't destroyed the Republican party is a pointless contest between terrible candidates really going to hurt the party. People that vote Republican seem to have an amazing short sighted memory. Basically some time this summer FOX news and other sources will talk about how incredibly unified the Republican party is and was throughout the whole nomination contest and the people that vote Republican will nod their heads and go yip that's how I remember it. If you're still voting Republican now, you've somehow bought into whatever Mitt, Newt, Paul and the circus is selling. These guys don't suck any worse than Bush, Delay and the rest of the greedy rich idiots they had last decade.
