Yes. It's like that. Something that shouldn't make such an impact but does. Hitchcockian. That is it! I would group them together if I could at a gallery.
I'd like to imagine the house in curtain Curtain as the one in Panes of Gold. I want it to be sitting on a mountaintop in Misty Solitude. Inside the house lives the cat in Portrait of Intensity along with the woman who belongs to the shoe. That Owl sails through the woods in Misty Solitude as well. He and the cat wouldn't like each other much. There's a detached garage where the love automobile, The Decadence of Color, waits to be driven.
So, that's my grouping and my story.
