Well, I've been in the program for a few days now, and I enjoy it. Am learning the ropes and figuring out stuff that I thought I would never understand, enough to participate with enthusiasm - but there's volumes to learn that in my remaining lifetime, never will.

My cheapie used computer has earned my respect. She's pushing out tasks pretty fast, and I think the way this Dell works keeps it from getting hot. There's a vent in front of the tower and I can feel the gentle cool air coming out.

There are people who use their laptops.

If you are looking for some new hobby, challenge, etc., that doesn't cost money, try Seti. I'm with Einstein, Grid Republic, and it's a very busy group. Has a great message board for questions.
