2. So when democratic politicians fail to uphold basic democratic ideals, what then?

I'm not one to go on a wild, arms-flailing attack against Obama or the like... but of late he's been leaving me scratching my head. I'll vote for "better than the other guy," But I'd much rather vote for "the ones that shares my ideals" y'know?
