31. If they were killed over pot

why was it still there?

Cops say 70 pit bulls, believed to be involved in a dog fighting ring, were chained up in the back yard. Marijuana worth around $95,000 was also discovered.

What if there was originally 80 pit bulls, and who ever did the killings took the champions, or the breeders? What if, and stay with me here, what if there are only 70 dogs... and a rival breeder decided to off the people, and then step in after the dust has settled to give the animals a good home? Huh, huh? They wouldn't have to worry about someone recognizing the dogs at their place.. "Hey, isn't that Christensen's prized pooch?"

They could obtain the dogs legally via 'adoption', remove a rival breeder, and no one is the wiser. I would focus on who steps up and offers to take the dogs in.
