have no other collective voice, so they might as well be treated as the NRA is treated, because the only thing that will make them speak for themselves, to propose more effective and equitable solutions, is to experience negative impacts to their gun-ownership caused by the NRA.

These other gun owners are part of what makes the NRA so powerful, whether they are members or not.
