and through geology, you see patterns that occur throughout time.

Those things occur in biology as well. You are arguing for something that you probably wanted in the first place. Just don't cloak it in terms that you believe it will have an overall positive impact. It won't, and everyone that isn't blinded by Reaganomics and Thatcherism vehemently opposes it.
