Even granting that racism among white males in Mississippi is correlated to gun ownership, you are totally ignoring the significant proportion of gun owners who are not white males, to say nothing of gun owners who do not live in Mississippi.
(Hint: if you're taking data about racial attitudes from Mississippi, you're already starting with an outlying population.)
