57. I find it odd that so many don't believe they could have pulled it off on their own.

Some of you should spend a bit of time on Tor. Specifically, use the Hidden Wiki to jump into some of the Darknet asymmetric warfare sites. You can find sites with step by step instructions on building just about any kind of bomb you want, complete with shopping lists for the parts you'll need and information on the retailers who can supply them to you. And we're not talking about the fake disinfo crap you find on the WWW either. Most of it is the real deal.

It doesn't take a lot of skill or money to do a LOT of damage. Any halfway intelligent person could pull this off, requiring only a bit of patience and an utter lack of anything resembling a soul. Sadly, theres no shortage of intelligent sociopaths in this world.
