11. Her approval rating went down 2%, not 15%

There is a falsehood in the first sentence. I quote:

"A new poll has New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte down a total of 15 points from her previous approval rating."

Her approval went from 48% to 46%. Her disapproval went up a lot (13%). It is the combination of lower approval and higher disapproval (net approval) that went down significantly.

This is bad news for Ayotte, but the journalist needs additional training.
