DUers familiar with Wishadoo (and me), I could really use your help... [View all]

EDIT to reiterate my specific request of you all:

I'm asking those of you who have followed Wishadoo over the years, or even recently, to please either post here or message me, sharing how you've been impacted or see how others have been impacted by Wishadoo -- by compassion via Wishadoo and my Wishadoo posts here -- in some way.

UPDATE: BTW, the COMPASSION REVOLUTION HAS BEEN LAUNCHED!

I've been working nonstop to get things set up to launch the Compassion Revolution I posted about on Friday: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10022791653

I'm missing an important piece of the puzzle though.

One of the things I've asked people to do periodically over the years -- especially those who have been helped by others via Wishadoo in some way -- is to please type out a testimonial of sorts about their experience. Because more often than not people are in such dire straits and daily life is so darn hard (don't I know it), they have good intentions but end up never doing this.

People who have helped others are equally, if not more, impacted by the process of helping one another directly which Wishadoo facilitates via the Wishlist. That is a very common result of this process, I've found.

In order for people to see that THIS DOES WORK...that compassionate action, directly one-on-one....does create ripples of good (and it doesn't always involve money at all, simply acknowledgement of others!), and that my work and my beliefs do have value and impact, I need your help.

In a perfect world I could compile a video of testimonials...written comments, audio clips, images of people holding a sign or saying something regarding how they've been touched by Wishadoo's work.

But that takes time (though if anyone is inclined to take a pic or video clip or something expressing their view of Wishadoo, please do and send it to me!). It will remain on my to-do list for the future though.

It would take me weeks to gather the stories from over the years and summarize them in my own words.

Instead, I'd like to ask those of you who have followed Wishadoo over the years, or even recently, to please either post here or message me, sharing how you've been impacted or see how others have been impacted by Wishadoo in some way. (Wishadoo isn't limited to DU, of course; this is simply the largest community who has put it to use thus far.)

I would greatly, GREATLY appreciate it!
