(11,464 posts)anyone who goes somewhere where there is tv is told before hand that the game will be covered, and if you are with someone you don't want to be seen with, then don't be seen
by the cameras
however, with cameras everywhere one can pinpoint the moment of capture and that is the last known public movement of the person
If it saves one person from being kidnapped, it is well worth ten billion cameras
that's what technology is for.
and if one is not doing anything wrong, having a camera there to prove nothing wrong is done will go far to being found not guilty
I personally would rather be filmed by the government than some weird person with a cell phone. As everyone has cell phones, everyone already is filmed.
Cameras in Dallas and Memphis and a kitchen in Los Angeles might have stopped all those
loony conspiracy theories in the first place.
and all the cameras on 9-11 were able to prove it actually happened, unlike the conspiracy theorists who deny anything happened at all, and think the planes were not there (though they all were plainly seen, and that buildings did not fall and 3000 people died.
If everyone had a camera in Austria, maybe millions of lives could have been saved
of course, those people lost their civil rights
as did 82% of the nation when Jefferson issued his famous all men created equal thingy.
So in a land with slavery and no rights, a camera hardly takes away any right, and in fact,
gives people rights they would have lost with no documentation in it.
