It would have been explosive if the press had only reported it, given what else was going on in DC at the time.

Think how many newspapers and how much air time that would have sold and yet the press just buried the story, turned down that long green they long for so much.

Hell, Newt could easily have been impeached right besides Clinton, it was the press that made the call.
