35. Exactly. This has changed remarkably even since "Bowling with Columbine"

In that movie, Moore points out that our gun ownership wasn't that far out of line with other nations. Since that time, we have had a huge rise in the paranoid/militia mentality types who are buying 5, 10 or 20 guns each.

That is an under-reported part of the story.
