But that was my original subject. The Pubbies are in a corner and have nowhere to go nationally, History is in the process of dumping them in the ashbin. So of course they will say anything.

I expect a new "progressive" Republican Party to rise and give the Blue Dogs competition from the left eventually, there is no place else for them to go.

All I will say about theory is that theories are a dime-a-dozen, very easy to come up with, but on the other hand, theories that you can support, "prove" and rely on to get around in life, those are hard to come by and worth a lot.
