25. The ED Show was getting much better ratings than Chris Hayes' show.

The audience decline for MSNBC at 8pm has been shocking. I wonder if MSNBC will realize they made a mistake.


I know Ed didn't fit the image MSNBC wanted to have going forward. But Democrats already have a reputation as being smart, nerdy, educated, Northeasterners. I'm not sure we needed to add more fuel to the fire with Chris Hayes.


Ed spoke to a group of people we desperately need to improve with: Working class whites. He did a good job explaining how working class whites benefit more economically from liberal policies. He cut through the B.S. to explain to them to vote "pocket book issues" instead of "god, guns and gays."


I wish Ed well with his new show.
